If you can't read it, it says, "No, I don't like MLP. I am tired of seeing everything ponified. The show just isn't that good. Proudly ANTI-MLP." I am not here to make anyone feel bad about liking the show. However, I dislike the show, and I find (most of) the fanbase to be terribly obnoxious - from the 12 - 30 something year olds who like it. The terms 'brony, pegasister, somepony...' I'm sorry, but...it sounds silly. English, my friends, English. Not to mention, and I'm sorry to say, it is NOT normal to be sexually attracted to animals. Cartoons or otherwise. The 'cloppers' (another silly term), as they are called, are disgusting. Pony porn...sorry...zoophilia/bestiality is morally sick and wrong. Even if it's a cartoon, it still counts. The show itself is, in my opinion, abysmal. I do NOT like the animation, songs or the characters. Not one do I find tolerable. The fanbase is rampant with these pony porn lovers, and yes, they ARE a huge part of it. You can't say they aren't. Even the non-porn fans...I'm sorry, but...you sort of scare me. This goes even for the people I know at college who like the show. There's something not...normal about adults loving a show aimed towards young girls. Is it also necessary to ponify everything? No. Do ponies belong in every single crossover? No. Do I like seeing ponies? No. Will my opinion change anything? Nope. I always disliked horses as a general thing (too many bad experiences riding them, and crazy horse-lovers), but now...I hate them. I can find no good things about the show, the art, or the fandom. I just can't. But, I also know my thoughts won't change anything.
UPDATE June 11, 2014 C: These comments are hilarious. I have even lower standards of MLP fans now. I attend college with some of them. 20-27 year olds...I'm sorry, but I truly question ones overall mental health if they have...fantasies about a bunch of ... in my opinion, really ugly ponies composed of lines and color. Stamp base by
I cannot look up a show without getting a whole page of ponies TmT
A crossover every once in a while is fine, but if you look up a show and get nothing but crappy 'art' of ponified characters, then we have an issue.
I can't look up FnaF without seeing hideous pony animatronics or sickening drawings of pony oc's X one of the main animatronics Dx I wanna see Freddy! Not ugly Fluttershy dressed as Freddy or a terrible pony substitute!
And... They made a Zim pony O_o that's right, a fricken Invader Zim pony.
Please, please, please don't judge me by my username, please, just hear me out.
Anyways, I just wanted to say (even though I am sure you already know this) not all people are like this. Personally, I do dislike it whenever people change things to MLP:FiM. Just like the FNAF stuff you mentioned in the description. I like it when people stick to the show. But really, I find it the same thing whenever people change other animés or TV Shows in general to any other universe at all(I.E. turning Amy Rose into a Sailor Moon character). Also, to set something straight, I am completely against bestiality. It disgusts me beyond the ends of the universe.
Okay. Now that we've set some things down, let me get to my opinion. Once again, my OPINION. If I offend you in any way, I apologize. I never meant to. Well, if everything was directed for some "age group," then nostalgia isn't normal. Also, age groups aren't a strict law. They're just a way to render something as appropriate or inappropriate for certain ages. It doesn't make it weird. It's just one's opinion.
And now this is a more general topic: the haters. Why do they hate? (See how I say "them," because there's a great difference between bronies/pegasisters and haters who classify themselves as one.) Because they've been hurt by hurtful comments (once again, not necessarily all of them (of course, some hate because they feel like being trolls), and not necessarily by you). They get defensive and they start firing back. Yeah, I know we're all about "love, peace, and tolerance." I really loathe it when people put us under that label, and then when we fire back, they start telling us we're supposed to be tolerant and let them get away with it. It really ticks me off when they do that. Anyways, I see that people always focus on the negative side of the fandom. Why not focus on the positive side? The people apt to being friends, even with anti-MLP people? Can't you even show a bit of love to them? But nooooooo, a lot of people (not necessarily you) just fire away their hate canons instead of getting to know the people behind the fandom. Yeah, most of the things that disgust you disgust me, and I'd be apt to being friends with any pony haters. As long as they just get to know me instead of blindly firing hate.
Thank you for your time. I hope that you were not offended by any of this, once again, this was never, EVER, my intention, to hurt anyone with this. This is all IMO. Hopefully you'll take this into consideration. If not, that's fine, too.
Your Argument or statement. (I'm not too sure which.)...WINS A GOLD METAL!!
I am Not a MLP fan at all. The show is alright. I however, &@#$ing hated the fan-base. It was total toxic. (minus a few fan-pictures that were creative in a GOOD way.)
Just a story of me on what made me hate the MLP.
Back in the first years of MLP. I was never really interested in the show. I never hated the MLP or liked it as I had little to no Knowledge about them at that time. When I saw the toys and MLP stuff from stores. I was like "Meh It must of been a hit." as in many of the little girls (some teen girls.) liked or even loved the show.
I didn't know that the human Males also loved the MLP show till months passed on. I always thought of those guys AWKWARD, But I did not hate them at all. for a once and maybe still valid reason. (Everyone will like a show that may be for a target group of people. Pokemon is mostly for the kids. But yet I love Pokemon.) so It really wasn't all that bad.
I watched a episode of MLP during it's 2nd year just to see why such curtain men loved the show. I didn't like it. But I didn't hate it ether. It was okay to me. (Got me snickering once or twice from a moment.) But overall. The show was NOT my cup of tea.
I thought that was about it for everything that seemed normal. But I was DEAD wrong.
When I was browsing art. I saw loads of MLP fan-base stuff and crap. I was like, "What the hell?" When I looked at them, Most are just unoriginal ponies. Just seemingly shameless MLP ripoffs. Some very creative, and some just no....just..nooo..
I even saw the MLP porn stuff. I was disgusted app-on seeing that. I made my eyes burn a bit and Now I can never think of MLP Even being normal without that pron crap burned into my brain. (seeing something nasty will burn into your brain...and maybe your eyes as well.)
later down the road. I see other shows having Ponies or the characters as Ponies.. That was starting to get on my nerves and was making me strongly dislike the fan-base. It only got worse from there. Even some places That I normally go to are starting to flood with MLP fan-base stuff. I was starting to get really sick of it.
My hate for MLP Fan-base was there. But not to where I felt like shouting out to these people to stop this BS. But once I saw my Most favorite character/creature PONIFIED, That is where I just pulled my plug of Mr. nice guy and went total Ballistic on the Bronies. I was still using my intelligence to vent out, some legit bashing, and shouted out my point. Did it work? pfft not really. It only got worse from there.....I don't want to talk about the rest from that point.
I'm glad that Today, The MLP Fan-base died down quite a bit. But the crap out there is still going strong. and it's that BS crap is what got me to hate the MLP over all.
Well, yes, I can never see the show the same way. But I still like it anyways. I dunno, I just feel like all of them are little fragments of a shattered me. But, it's okay. I know. Those people scare me.
Not offended a bit And what you say is very true. Every MLP fan is different. Like you, my intent on this is not to generalize, but unfortunately, the majority I have met have been terribly immature, thus they are categorized as in my mind. Because sadly, once in a blue moon, someone rational comes along, such as yourself. And I would never condone anyone to go to someone's page and leave hate. I never have, and never will do so. I may dislike the show and have little respect for the fanbase. But I do not dislike the people themselves. Hating someone over a show is childish. But having little respect for them because of their actions in defense of the show, is a bit different to me.
